God's Prey X Daniel Palillo FW11 Collaboration

Here is a sneak peak into God's Prey Fall/Winter 2011, Never Never is Forever...

The Fall/Winter 2011 season, Never Never is Forever, sees a major collaboration between God's Prey and Finnish designer Daniel Palillo. Together we created a new version of Palillo's signature oversized t-shirt, using the God's Prey t-shirt body and Sweet Leaf print, and Palillo's hand-drawn artwork. For this collaboration, we are offering two styles of t-shirt, Astro Zipper and Severed Hands. The t-shirts are made and printed in Los Angeles.
God's Prey FW11 will be in stores in August, 2011.

Glad You Weren't The Only One.

I guess I wasn't the only one baffled by Alexander Wang's CFDA nomination for menswear. The designer stated in an interview with Style.com, "I got nominated and at first I was like, really?" I understand the aesthetic and fit, but it really blew my mind. Trust, I am a big fan of good basics, but come on. Talk about politics. Wang announced he would be doing a full on mens ready to wear collection and show. Guess that's appropriate. Although it was always intended to decay, the Berlin-based team imagined it would be a “natural” process of relentless sun and wind, rather than as as a source of rural entertainment. Tired of repeatedly repairing the piece, they discussed pulling the plug on it, leaving it a “beautiful memory.”
Fuck, I need to get there ASAP before they tear it down!!!

• Vogue never released a statement of John Galliano's firing from Dior. Anna finally speaks about it, saying only, "This is all so tragic."
• When asked if Vogue is "overly clubby," she replies, "I try to remain open to new people, but obviously there's a stronger element of trust with people you've known for a long time. I think we have a Vogue vocabulary, and there are certain people we like to have as the backbone of the magazine—Vogue's signposts. We try very hard to integrate the familiar signatures with people we feel are new and up-and-coming, but I would rather err on the side of being a little more familiar than being too ...
