How can I tell you how much Ray Petri influenced me in fashion!
In the late '80s, early '90s . . . I would buy The Face Magazine religiously . . . well, more like steal it from Walden Bookstore, cuz it's too expensive . . . but I would be so excited and inspired with looking inside the pages of The Face. Ray Petri's stylist stood out cuz he just didn't style the outfits together . . . you can tell that his personality and heart were in it!!
It's quirky and thought through . . . it's different and it's him . . . there's subtle references but all in all it's just fun! Nothing too deep . . . just a person who loves fashion!!
To this day, when I style my shoots . . . I know his influence is with me . . .
