Gucci- Fall 10

Moncler Gamme Bleu- Fall 10
Alexander McQueen Fall 10
Tribal. Prints. Drought. McQueen opted for a very neutral color palette showing many head to toe print looks. Personally I saw it as the terrestrial, at times tribal version of his famous underwater womens collection he just showed a few weeks ago. There was definitely a bit of a goth undertone per usual.I couldn't help but notice a bit of a 60-70's influence with the seamless print and pilgrim hair. Very different than his last collection but took us to a new place. The fit seemed a bit questionable on some pieces. Definitely can see it having a rippling effect as far as color is concerned for next fall.

Menswear Fall 09

This season for the Mens collection in Milan . . . well, I'm a little underwhelmed . . . I guess, with the economy in such a dire state . . . understandably the designers look for more conservative and quiet collection . . . although, there were a few standouts for me . . .
You can count of Alexander McQueen to incorporate leather aprons to be a part of a man's clothing vernacular next Fall! And of course, Prada . . . Muccia is always playing with proportion and details . . . the studs on that long coat . . . I'd DIE!!!
Let's see what the Paris collection is going to come up with . . . please no more BLACK!!!
