So, we are in NYC covering fashion week . . . and this trip wouldn't be worth it without visiting Nicola Formichetti's Pop Up store . . . I swear, I was expecting Rico greeting me at the door but all we got was a pseudo-tattoo person to greet us!!The store itself was striking . . . though I can't help but think of "I've seen this before" moment!
Oh that right . . . KoKon To Zai!! This shop is like the NYC flagship of KTZ!!! WTF!
I mean, down to the styling of the mannequins to the mirrored walls . . . and lets just say, I was a little underwhelmed . . . the clothes that were in there were pretty much a stylist wish lists on shoots . . . but as far as the regular All American Cheerleaders who wants to be as cool as Lady GaGa . . . well, you can come but don't expect to touch . . . cuz a vintage Versace silk shirt will cost you $1250!!
I mean, GaGa's famous gun bra was there and all that leather harness and weirdly decorated sunglasses . . . all it spoke to me as . . . well, let's just say . . . I'M OVER IT!
Though I did buy a Nico-Panda t-shirt for $40! and I did ran into a friend that worked the visuals for the store . . . but other than that . . . if you like to see what GaGa is gonna wear on her next tour . . . this is a sure place to come to whilst you are here in NYC!
PS: The soundtrack in that store . . . well, there's a live DJ and let's just say . . leaves quite a a little bit to be desired . . .
